² The devil had already put it into the mind of Judas, son of Simon Iscariot, to betray Jesus. During supper, ³ Jesus, fully aware that the Father had entrusted all things into his hands, and that he had come from God and was returning to God, ⁴ got up from the table, removed his outer garments, and took a towel that he tied around his waist.
